Fire Station Swing brings you fun, friendly swing dance classes in the heart of Oxford. Classes every Thursday from 25th April to 13th June (8 weeks). Book an eight week block in advance to save up to £16 compared to the individual class prices.
Learn to Lindy Hop! This energetic partner dance originated in African-American communities at the height of the Swing Era in the 20s, 30s, and 40s and is still a global phenomenon today.
Oxford Lindy Hoppers teach fun, friendly drop-in classes. No previous dance experience is required for beginners, and no need to bring a partner for any of our classes! (but do bring a water bottle)
The venue opens at 19:30, with classes for:
- Beginners: 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - The Loft
- Beginners: 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. - The Loft (the two beginners classes each night will have different content so it's worth doing both!)
- Improvers: 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m - The Studio
- Intermediates: 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. - The Studio
Social dancing for everyone: 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. - The Loft
