Refund Policy
Oxford Lindy Hoppers (OLH) will comply with all current HM Government legislation during our events. As a condition of attendance, entry holders will be required to comply with this legislation and any associated statutory guidelines, and accordingly, where necessary Oxford Lindy Hoppers reserve the right to vary and amend these terms and conditions (solely to the extent necessary to accommodate such changes to legislation and guidance). In particular this will apply to any public health rules, policies, advice and guidance which can be subject to change at short notice.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
1. Refund Policy
1.a. Oxford Lindy Exchange or Oxford Swing Festival
- Registrations that are cancelled with more than 75 days notice before the start of the event will receive 100% refund, less any booking fees.
- Registrations that are cancelled with 60 to 75 days notice before the start of the event will receive 75% refund, less any booking fees.
- Registrations that are cancelled with less than 60 days notice to the start of the event will receive no refund.
- For individual night/day tickets of the weekends, 1.b below applies.
1.b. Other classes, workshops and events
- Registrations that are cancelled with more than 14 days notice before the first day for the event will receive 100% refund, less any booking fees.
- Registrations that are cancelled with 14 to 7 days notice before the first day for the event will receive 75% refund, less any booking fees.
- Registrations that are cancelled with less than 7 days notice before the first day for the event will receive no refund.
2. Ticket transfers
You are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else up to 10 days before the event but only with the prior permission of Oxford Lindy Hoppers.
- Transfer requests must be sent by e-mail to oxfordlindyhoppers@gmail.com with full details of both the buyer and seller including their full email addresses with both parties cc’d to the email. To minimise potential fraud, Oxford Lindy Hoppers will confirm with the buyer and the seller before completing the transfer and reserve the right to refuse a transfer. Failure to inform the organisers will mean the buyer will not receive any information about the event, and may be denied entry.
- Any transfer MUST be to someone with the same ticket type and dance role i.e. follow to follow, lead to lead, etc.
- A ticket transfer is not complete until confirmation is sent to both parties by Oxford Lindy Hoppers. *
3. Cancellation or postponement by OLH
Any events may be subject to change, postponement or cancellation including at short notice. If Oxford Lindy Hoppers need to reschedule or cancel the event, we will aim to offer a full refund to all attendees, but this is not guaranteed as we may be unable to reclaim costs paid to venues, suppliers or performers. We also cannot be held liable for any loss including non-refundable travel and accommodation. Any refund will be made within 90 days of the any cancellation being notified
4. Health Guidelines
By purchasing tickets to Oxford Lindy Hoppers' events you agree that attendance is at your own risk, and that Oxford Lindy Hoppers shall not be liable in any way for any illness or loss whatsoever as a result of attending the event.
By attending we ask that you follow our health guidelines:
- You will not attend if you are feeling unwell.
- Respect your dance partner’s choice to wear a mask, and offer to do the same.
- Maintain personal hygiene including, but not limited to, regular hand washing and sanitising.
- We strongly encourage you to be fully vaccinated to attend our events, and do a Covid test before attending.*
Oxford Lindy Hoppers will offer as much help as possible to anyone unable to attend an event - or part of it - due to an illness including trying to arrange a pass transfer where possible. However, please note we cannot guarantee a successful outcome.
